From improvised music, slowly growing melodies constantly seeking harmony, droning ambient, effect-haunted manipulation, vibrating overtones and sonic alienation. A pull, a push, a merging of sound that hums from the quiet. In the gloom, it creeps into ears, weaving a spell that lingers, rumbles. And in the light of day, it shrinks to the size of a fleeting thought: There are good things about bad sleep. You might slumber, but a part of you remains awake. Surrounded with comforting patience in the state of is-ness.
Stay untuned, this music expands. In a fragile reality. And with the hope that it will help to come to rest.

«The Good Thing About Bad Sleep Is» marks the first release from möf, the solo project from Swiss clarinetist Fabian Mösch.
